OUR STORY
The band was founded in 2018 by singer and frontman Jon Boyd and guitarist and practicing Eye Surgeon, Dr. Douglas Friedrich.
An odd pairing indeed, but the twisted combo worked, and they were poised to hit the local music scene with Classic Rock and Grunge covers. Sadly, Jon Boyd passed away over Thanksgiving weekend 2018 at the young age of 29. Devastated by this unexpected event, the Bass player and Drummer left and for all intents and purposes, the band was done.
Determined to carry on Jon's vision for the band, guitarist Dr. Friedrich asked Jon's girlfriend to step in and assume the role of lead singer.
OUR STORY
Little did anyone know what a naturally gifted performer Morgan Torres was. She has been described as a cross between Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin and Michael Jackson. Morgan accepted the opportunity to honor the memory of her late boyfriend and electrified the new lineup. She added depth, grace and excitement to the playlist pulling together the best of Rock and Dance stars such as Donna Summer, The Commodores, the Jackson Five and Classic Rock staples such as Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Rolling Stones and even some Pink Floyd on those rare special nights. Keeping the thunder contained, lead guitarist Vasilios Bouras, drummer Ray Montecalvo, bassist Ed Lane and singer Lou Barbuto are the band newest members.
Morgan Torres adds a beautiful soulful voice to Classic Rock songs in a way that is truly unparalleled while bringing the power of the great Funk Disco songs back to life with the driving force of talented rock and blues musicians behind her.

LEAD GUITARIST & FOUNDING MEMBER
Born in Queens. He started playing guitar at age 23. He was self taught and is a proficient blues guitarist incorporating the styles of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dickey Betts and Duane Allman.
Doug was a Commercial Pilot from 1990-1993 where he worked as a Flight Instructor in North and South Carolina.
Following his aviation career, Douglas went to Medical School and became an MD. He currently heads a large Manhattan Eye Surgery practice that he started from the ground up in 2003.
Dr. Friedrich lives in Nassau County.
VASILIOS
LEAD GUITARIST
Vasilios moved from Denver to NYC in 2014 with the soul purpose of pursuing a music career. One day just decided to pack a Uhaul full of his amps and guitars and just drive to the East Coast with the idea that if you can make it in New York you can make it anywhere. Self taught at 16 he is heavily influenced by classic rock guitarists like Jimmy Page, Hendrix, Slash, Tony Iomi and is always looking to bring their style to life with his own playing.

Ray Monte – Drummer/Backround Vocals – 22 years on the NYC Long Island club date scene.

Ed is no stranger to the Long Island scene. He´s been in a few bands over the years rocking out and is now going to be part of the MYXD Order family. Engaging his stage presence and looking in with Ray on drums MYXD Order will keep you dancing throughout the night!

LEAD/HARMONY VOCALS
Lou has been playing music for over 20 years and loves to perform live!! He is very passionate about his craft and is always bringing energy and confidence to his live shows!! He loves to rock out with his fellow band mates any chance he gets!!
